What is Morpheus8 Body?

Morpheus8 Body is a minimally invasive treatment that combines microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy to improve the appearance of loose or uneven skin. The treatment is designed to stimulate collagen production deeper within the skin while also improving skin texture and firmness.

How Does Morpheus8 Body Work?

Morpheus8 Body uses a specialized tip with 40 gold-plated microneedles. The needles penetrate the skin to deliver bipolar radiofrequency energy into the deeper layers.

The combination of micro-needling and RF energy creates controlled heating within the tissue, stimulating collagen remodeling and helping improve the overall appearance and firmness of the treated skin.

What Can I Expect During Morpheus8 Body Treatment?

Morpheus8 Body is designed with patient comfort in mind. A prescription strength topical anesthetic is applied before treatment and typically left in place for approximately one hour to help minimize any potential discomfort during the procedure.

How Many Treatments Are Needed?

A series of 3–4 treatments spaced approximately 4–6 weeks apart is recommended. The appropriate number of treatments depends on the individual’s skin, treatment goals, and the area being treated.

What Areas Can Be Treated?

Morpheus8 Body can be used on several areas of the body. Common treatment areas include:

  • Abdomen
  • Thighs
  • Back
  • Buttocks

Skin Care After Morpheus8 Body

After treatment, the skin may be temporarily sensitive, red, or swollen. Gentle skin care and sun protection are important while the skin recovers.

A gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and broad-spectrum sunscreen can be useful products to have available following treatment. Always follow the specific aftercare instructions provided by your treatment provider.

As you can see, the photo shows textbook psoriasis flareups all over her face. A lot of people found the photo quite shocking and can’t believe how she is regularly able to conceal it.

Psoriasis is a common skin condition that affects more than 8 million Americans. Typically developing between the ages of 15-25, symptoms consist of skin redness and irritation with silver-colored scales. Usually occurring on the scalp, face, hands, elbows, knees, and feet, it is believed to occur when the body’s immune system mistakes healthy cells for dangerous or harmful substances.

A common misconception is that psoriasis is contagious, this is not the case. Some things that can contribute to worsening the condition though include too much exposure to sunlight, consumption of alcohol, and even stress. It can be treated in many different ways, with the most common options being topical ointments or creams, lotions, and shampoos.
